KVKK Disclosure (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law)

This disclosure is prepared to inform you about personal data processed through the Garantak platform (garantak.com) by Ahmet Burak Sevinç, acting as data controller under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK").

3. Purposes of Processing

- Carrying out billing and accounting operations
- Fulfilling legal obligations
- Improving service quality
4. Legal Grounds for Processing
Your personal data is processed based on the following legal grounds under KVKK:
- Article 5/2-a: Explicitly provided for by law
- Article 5/2-c: Directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract
- Article 5/2-ç: Necessary for the data controller to fulfil a legal obligation
- Article 5/2-f: Legitimate interest, provided it does not harm the data subject's fundamental rights and freedoms
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data is not sold or rented to third parties, except as legally required. It may only be shared with essential technical infrastructure providers (e.g. hosting, transactional e-mail) as necessary to deliver the service, within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as the service relationship continues and thereafter for the retention periods required by applicable legislation. Upon expiry of these periods, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
7. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information if it has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad
- Request correction if processed incompletely or incorrectly
- Request deletion or destruction within the conditions set out in Article 7 of KVKK
- Request that correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred
- Object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis exclusively via automated systems
- Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing
